A French rustic genre tapestry from the 19th century, centrally woven, portraying young nobles at play in an opulent courtyard, with a young man pushing a young lady on a swing as another lady with a dog looks on, seated beside a fountain and bushes, with a castle in the distance. Enclosed within a scrolling border with vines, fruiting, and flowerheads. Wool with silk inlay. Measures: 6’3” H x 7’2” W. Hanging: The tapestry comes ready for hanging, with linen backing and a strip of hook and loop tape at the top end, which can be connected to the opposite side of the supplied hook and loop tape, which could be tacked to your wall. For those who prefer the use of a tapestry rod, we can add the appropriate size loops to accommodate your needs.
