About the Item
A rare screen printed canvas wall hanging by the respected British graphic artist Abram Games. He designed this whimsical horse as an advertisement for the Times of London in 1962. Games was a contemporary of Alexander Girard and the two shared a very similar sensibility and influence that helped define the International style of the 1960s. This work is mounted on its original support rod with orange-red lacquered finials, accenting the decorative dots of the horse's neck and will ship rolled.
