Questo arazzo di Ottavio Missoni, con dimensioni di 182 cm. x 60 cm., è composto da riquadri e pannelli che si susseguono ritmicamente. Costruito come un patchwork tessile, dove troviamo in ciascun modulo i classici motivi a zig-zag, righe e geometrie tipiche del linguaggio Missoni, intrecciati in una composizione dinamica ma armoniosa e a forte impatto visivo La palette cromatica è ricca di blu profondi, viola, turchesi, aranci, rossi, rosa cipria e tocchi neutri si alternano creando profondità e movimento. Le variazioni di trama e densità del tessuto aggiungono una dimensione, rendendo l’arazzo quasi vibrante alla vista. Nel complesso, l’opera unisce artigianalità tessile e ricerca artistica, trasformando un elemento decorativo in un vero e proprio quadro in stoffa, ideale come pezzo centrale per una parete contemporanea o come accento sofisticato in un ambiente di design. Arazzo di Ottavio Missoni con il design tipico del suo stile. Caratterizzato da quadrati ripetuti con tonalità dell’azzurro. Le trame e i colori si alternano creando profondità e dinamismo visivo. Il bordo esterno è rifinito in un tono nero che incornicia il tutto con eleganza. Realizzato in pura lana negli anni ’80 con dimensioni 200cm. x 79 cm. In alto ha un telaio nero che permette con facilità di essere appeso al muro. Ottavio Missoni è nato l'11 febbraio 1921 a Dubrovnik, sulla costa dalmata. Sua madre, Teresa de Vidovich, era contessa di Capocesto e Rogoznica mentre suo padre, Vittorio Missoni, era un capitano di mare friulano che si trasferì in Dalmazia quando era sotto il dominio austriaco. È stato educato a Zara, Trieste e Milano. Missoni è conosciuta principalmente per i suoi maglieria a motivi, in particolare un motivo a zigzag colorato, ma comprende oggi diverse collezioni, una gamma di prodotti con licenza e linee di diffusione. Il marchio a conduzione familiare ha sfruttato con successo il patrimonio della dinastia fondatrice e un'immagine di alta gamma genuina, evitando al contempo le tendenze eccessive, rimanendo però rilevante sessant'anni dopo la sua fondazione, grazie agli sforzi dei membri più giovani del clan Missoni.
