Greek revival was a important part of upscale fifties decor! This is a wonderful tapestry of a chariot, rider and handlers that perfectly captures this Greek revival style!
Frederic Weinberg is one artist who created mid century Etruscan horses, battling Greek warriors and other Greek revival pieces for cultured mid century interiors!
This monumental piece is an enormous 57" by 32" and can act as a centerpiece for an interior that features elements of Ancient Greek revival! It also makes a fantastic style break in an ultra-modern interior decor!
Perfect above a Wormley sofa or in an entrance hall, this piece will superbly set the classic theme!
Greek Revival style was used extensively n the film "The Incredibles" to capture Edna Mode's mid century upscale mansion. This Greek Revival setting is where she famously said "I used to design for Gods!"
