About the Item
“Blu di Prussia” [Prussian Blue], the name of this project, took inspiration from the fluid used in the automotive field for controls and markings on metals, in order to verify their aesthetic quality
Matteo Cibic has designed two new metal wall tapestries for the brand, games of carvings and three-dimensional reliefs on three levels, natural and extravagant.
Animals and gods coexist in a firmament of happy objects between sea and sky: magnetic beauty, Prussian blue and ultramarine blend in a dynamic composition.
Inspired by Gabriele D'Annunzio's poem "The Wave", Caelum Contingo is a tribute to the waves caressed by the breeze, which fragments and scatters water and foam: "The wind strengthens, Another wave is born, it gets lost [.. .] a flake of foam that leaps!”.
Caelum Contingo Blu di Prussia edition is part of a limited collection of only 10 pieces.
