Kirsten Gregers Jensen (1928–1998) was a Norwegian-Danish tapestry artist and furniture architect whose work stands among the finest examples of Scandinavian textile modernism. Trained in Trondheim and Copenhagen, she established her weaving studio in 1957 and exhibited widely across the Nordic art scene. Her pieces are represented in Designmuseum Danmark, the Ny Carlsberg Foundation, and the Danish Arts Foundation.
In ‘Brun Jord’, Jensen’s distinctive language of form and tone reaches an expressive maturity, combining material precision with quiet emotional depth.
