Impressive textured wall tapestry, Belgium 1970s. The tapestry is handwoven from different natural fibers and is exposing an interesting horizontal play of textures and patterns. All the ropes and threads are hand picked and artisanal made for this specific tapestry by the artist. Great example of artistic talent showcasing a great variation of weaving techniques, materials and a mix of color shades and textures. The work is showing a nice deep relief and strong weavings which provide a nice relief and play of shadows and volumes. In very good original condition.
