A handsome and most charming pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. Giltwood wall brackets. Each wonderful wall bracket displays a central scrolled cabochon crest with a masculine whimsical top mask. The brackets taper at the base with a decorative foliate scroll while the horseshoe shaped top has a mottled edge with a Coeur de Rai design. All original and exquisite gilding throughout.
