About the Item

A whimsical and finely detailed pair of Italian 19th century Baroque st. glazed patinated wood wall brackets. Each most decorative wall bracket is centered by a berried foliate bottom finial that hangs below truly impressive and colorful scrolling acanthus leaves and floral accents. The focal point of each lovely wall bracket is the winged mythological bust tastefully decorated with additional foliate designs as well as a palmette head crown at the center. The uniquely shaped curved wooden top is beautifully decorated with colorful floral designs and a reeded band around the edge of display shelf.

Each wonderfully carved wall bracket displays a stunning faux marble plinth below an impressive patinated wood Rocaille scrolled reserve. The scrolls protrude and follow the shape of the patinated green backplates accented with mottled patinated wood bands. At the top front of each wall bracket is an exceptional and large scale ebonized wood foliate reserve below the original patinated wood display shelves.
