About the Item
This wall decoration set is distinguished by a crackle gold 18 Karat overlay. The high glaze finish enhances this sculptural display from gifted California designer Larry Lubow. There are seven ceramic pieces that can be arranged in a variety of patterns or positioned wherever your imagination takes you. It appears the artist's intent was to arrange the boomerangs in close proximity as pictured. They are dramatic. Lubow produces beautiful metal pieces from copper with refined finishes (see our listings), but he began in ceramics. This set reflects his love of geometry. We had the privilege to meet the artist in his studio last year. He says he loves spheres, and he has a mathematical mind. He says he has always been drawn to shapes. The artist’s work in copper is stunning. The insurance value on the set is $5,000, according to our appraiser.
