About the Item
An Italian carved and painted wood urn fragment from the 18th century. This antique wall decoration from Italy has been carved to resemble and urn, with and exaggerated waterfall top, and floral and acanthus leaf embellishments. This piece has a vibrant blue finish with gold accents, and some areas of silver color. There is a nicely aged patina and lovely areas of cracking; a reflection of it's age. Please note that the backside is not carved and flat in shape, therefore making this decorative piece best used with it's back to wall. This 18th century Italian wall mounted urn-carved fragment will be a fabulous eye-catching wall decoration, standing just over 2.5 feet in height.
