About the Item
Original 1950s woodcut wooden print block by Pauline Jacobsen. Very nicely detailed, hand carved lime wood then used for printing. Exceptionally well carved. The artist would often use the grain of the lime wood as a feature of the design. Remnants of the ink remain on the woodcut surface from the print process. Titled Noli me tangere.
Wonderful decorative woodcut, could be hung on the wall for decoration.
