About the Item

A beautiful late 19th-century glazed Majolica flower and butterfly wall pocket depicting a large, dark pink Morning Glory Convolvulus flower in full bloom. On the front is a butterfly (one wingtip is broken off), supported by plump green leaves. The stems are a darker green than the leaves. Beautiful casting, with stunning painted details. Very fine quality. Numbered 3010F on the back. Also included is a small string for hanging.
