About the Item

An original antique Georgian architectural pine frieze wall panel c.1800, handcarved with scallop shell to the centre and scrolling foliage. Fitted with string for hanging, this antique frieze section is ready for wall mounting in an interior. It will look particularly striking above a sideboard or console where it’s fine intricacy and late 18th/early 19th century craftsmanship can be observed and admired. We are also selling a similar smaller example in the same style under Stock No. 34324. Provenance: Ossowski, Pimlico Road
