A Bronze Erotica Portrait Plaque of Freud- 'What’s on Man’s Mind' Europe, circa mid-20th Century A whimsical cast and patinated bronze portrait plaque of Austrian neurologist Sigmund Freud (1856 - 1939) This version is known as 'What’s on man’s mind?' At first glance it appears to be an ordinary bronze portrait plaque. At further inspection, one will notice its an erotic depiction /optical illusion. Two embracing figures at the mouth, and the third draped figure above. Cast with a loop handle for hanging, suitable for framing. This work is unsigned. Overall Measurements: 5.25-Inches high to he top of the loop, 5-Inches high to he top of the sculpture 4-Inches wide x .25 inches high.
