About the Item

This abstract wall hanging by Carole Harrison is 7 1/4" wide, 10" tall and 1 1/2" thick. The piece is marked "Harrison 75" under the figure and marked 1975 on the back of the piece. Carole Harrison (10/30/33 - 4/4/22) - Born in Illinois, Carole studied at Cranbrook Academy of Arts in 1955/56, Bloomfield Hills, MI, obtaining her Masters, she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study sculpture at Central School of Arts in London. She specialized in sculptures of cast and welded metals and bronze. She has several pieces installed in permanent collections. She founded the sculpture department at Western Michigan University and taught at numerous colleges as a visiting professor.
