Lucebert (1924-1994)
Lucebert was the pseudonym of Lubertus Jacobus Swaanswijk. This poet - also active as a visual artist - was born in 1924 in Amsterdam. In the fifties of the twentieth century he acted as leader of the Movement of Fifty, the group of experimental poets that caused a lot of controversy at the time.
He became the most famous poet in The Netherlands.
