About the Item

At once functional and decorative, Chinese lattice windows allowed fresh air and light into a room while still maintaining privacy. Assembled by interlocking narrow rods of carved pinewood, this lattice window panel from the early 20th century has a simple, geometric pattern set within an elongated rectangular frame. For added dimension, we’ve backed the three centermost openings with tinted rose-pink mirror glass for use as an unexpected wall mirror.
