About the Item

Incredible J. Anker, “Korselet" multi-media wall art, 70s. A unique abstract piece composed of metal and fabric foam. Commissioned by the Dutch government, Arnhem area, for public display. Anker uses negative space and depth to create an imposing and literally heavy piece that exudes strength. The background is made using unclipped staple wire. In original condition with visible wear and patina consistent with its age and use. This piece is documented will labels on the back.
