Giltwood Trophy Wall Applique Anonymous Probably French; ca. 1900 Giltwood Approximate size: 41 (h) x 16 (w) x 2.75 (d) in. This decorative architectural giltwood wall trophy features an intricately carved array of musical instruments at its base, including a detailed violin and horn, all rendered with impressive three-dimensional depth and delicate detail. Gracefully surmounting these instruments is a beautifully executed ribbed bow, appearing to tie the musical elements together with its undulating folds and refined finish.
