About the Item
Exceptional Italian sun burst candle sconce in original gold gilt finish. The sconce features repeating wrought iron rays, which radiate from the domed metal center. A single candle sconce arm projects from the sun element , included is the original period transparent gold fleck inclusion candlestick. The piece attaches to the wall with the included and original wall bracket. This example retains the remains of the Made in Italy paper decal on verso. Circa 1960/1970's, Brutalist School wall scone, in good clean, ready to use condition, showing only light cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age.
