About the Item

A folk art sheet iron weathervane in the shape of a stag. Pleasing naive depiction of form with antlers, 'shoe' hooves and tail. Hand-made body and iron supports to back. Dents and bullet holes to surface and in old black paint. Reputedly from a Dupont family hunting lodge. Stand not included.
