Jonathan Seliger (USA 1955), "Editorial" - The Anatomy of Hate, 1994, mixed media. The materials used: oil, alkyd, modeling paste, wax on muslin and wood. The artist has confirmed that his piece was exhibited and sold through Anders Tornberg Gallery in Lund, Sweden. About the artist: Jonathan Seliger was born in 1955 in Queens, New York, and lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1978. In 1976 he participated in an exchange program at the Universität Graz, Austria, and in 1977 he did independent study in Stuttgart, Germany. As a visual artist, he is self-taught. His work has been exhibited around the world and is included in many public and private collections.
