Limited edition silverplated metal plaque depicting lovely Islamic calligraphy after the original by the celebrated Turkish calligrapher, Mahmud Celaleddin (?-1829), surrounded by colorful glazed ceramic Islamic Iznik tiles, and mounted in contemporary frame with distressed silvered finish and eggplant colored matte with brass nameplate that reads Mahmud Celaleddin (M 1829). Plaque 15 1/8 by 7 1/2 by 1 inches. Frame 24 by 32 by 3/4 inch. Number 106 from a limited edition of 250 issued by Kuka Collection.
