About the Item
A gorgeous MCM mosaic wall sculpture, in the style of Pablo Picasso, of what I believe to be Jesus and His 11 disciples (Judas missing), circa 1950s. The intricately hand crafted piece is in good vintage condition (with no cracks or missing tiles) and measures 72.5"W x 1.75"D x 12"H. I believe the image is Jesus Christ with all His disciples and a hand holding the 30 silver coins that Judas received to betray Him. I am not positive of that, but that is my interpretation after discussing with several art experts. Either way it is a fabulous and large MCM mosaic. It comes with two metal claws to attach to wall and a 1950s polarioid photograph of the piece hanging on a wall. #4809
