While Texas artist Charles Pebworth created in various media he was best known for his relief work in metal. He worked primarily in aluminum, copper and bronze, sometimes adding accents of wood or stone. As a member of the Choctaw Indian Nation he often incorporated subtle references to Native American cosmology in his work.
