A marvelous Mid-Century Modern Brutalist style sculptural wall hanging titled "Black
Grey Vertical." Titled and signed in paint on the verso by Hayms. The term "brutalism" derives from the word "concrete" or breton brut. Brutalism is an architectural style characterized by a deliberate plainness, crudity, and transparency that can often be interpreted as austere and menacing. This style emerged in the mid-20th century and gained popularity in the late 1950s and 1960s. An iconic statement for a modern designed space. Dimensions: 9.75"w x 2.25"d x 11.5"h (framed). In very good vintage condition.
