Nice Carved and Painted Tyrolian Carnival Fasnet Mask
A handcarved pine wood, hand painted, antique wooden carved carnival mask from the region of South Tyrol. Excecuted in the first half 20th. century. These masks are used in Austria, South Germany and Italy at the carnival “Fasnacht” processions to chase away winter.
