About the Item
Decorate a dining room or living room wall with this elegant pair of antique polychromed wall sculptures. Hand carved in France circa 1950, each trophy features a traditional a gilt shell at the pediment, and carved foliage and leaf motifs throughout. The wall art is further decorated with fruit, floral, pine cone, and acorn motifs. Both colorful carvings are in excellent condition, and adorn a rich patinated gilt and painted finish; these wall decorations could also be placed on either side of a mantel. Hooks in the back for easy installation.
