About the Item

An impressive pair of early 20th century Siena marble reliefs encased in iron frames. Each relief features figural carvings of women draped in flowing robes in classical poses above depictions of cherubs or putti reminiscent of Roman art. Floral depictions appear on either side adding a delicate aesthetic. Luxurious and warm Siena marble with handsome veining is encased in patinated iron creating a striking contrast.
