A set of three 19th century satin wood thistle plaques with raised composite carvings. This Scottish origin triptych is ready to hang in either a vertical or horizontal position. Dating from the 1830s, these ornate works were possibly once part of a larger architectural frieze, depicting gentle movements in their intricate details.
