Silvio Giovenetti (20th century) Mid-Century Modern abstract acid etched stainless steel, circa 1971
Brilliant large scale stainless steel art by listed artist Silvio Giovenetti.
Giovenetti brushed various acids onto the stainless steel to bring out different colors in an abstract pattern.
He called his artwork "metal paintings".
These seldom appear on the market. This is a fine opportunity to acquire a "metal painting" by this talented artist.
Signed and dated in the lower left corner.
Dimensions 44" wide x 32" high
The metal shows a minor scratch (see pics) this can be easily concealed with a bit of TLC.
