About the Item

Wall cabinet model "Arkitektskåpet" designed by Johan Kandell. Made in Sweden by Källemo 1989. This piece from the first edition of limited cabinets numbered 6/20. Made from black lacquered wood. Signed with pen on the bottom by Kandell. Good vintage condition with some signs of age related wear and patina. Provenance: The cabinet "arkitektskåpet" was designed by Johan Kandell in 1989 and firstly done in 20 pieces only sold to the members "Arkitekförbundet" the association for Architects in Sweden. The Proceeds later went to Rolf Åsards Stipendium who paid of scholarships to newly examined interior architects. The cabinet was later produced in 190 signed pieces in bright red/orange, that was sold to the public.
