The SOMERSET armchair embodies elegance, comfort, and craftsmanship, bringing a contemporary touch to outdoor living. Designed by Studio Fermob, this armchair is inspired by traditional English benches but reinterpreted for modern lifestyles. The combination of teak and aluminium gives it a distinctive character—warmth and natural beauty from the teak armrests and base, paired with durable, perforated aluminium slats for the seat and tubular backrest.
Special attention has been given to the ergonomics of the armchair: the seat depth and backrest tilt have been optimised to provide exceptional comfort. The cushions, crafted from solution-dyed 100% acrylic Sunbrella® fabric, are resistant to stains, mould, tears, and abrasion. Removable covers make maintenance easy, while high-resilience polyurethane foam ensures a plush, supportive seat, complemented by soft flocon-filled back cushions.
The SOMERSET armchair is ideal for outdoor spaces such as terraces, gardens, or balconies, yet its refined design also allows it to be used indoors. Cushions are tone-matched with the frame for a sleek, contemporary aesthetic that elevates any setting.
