Known for his poetic and visionary universe in the world of fashion, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac brings his unique sensibility to outdoor furniture with the Ange chair. This striking creation is a contemporary reinterpretation of the iconic 1900 chair, transformed into a true work of art in metal.
At first glance, Ange feels like poetry in motion. Its sculptural backrest, laser-cut from steel, depicts two cherubs facing one another, their silhouettes forming a heart. Both romantic and symbolic, this design is as expressive as it is comfortable to lean against. The delicate hand-forged wings and rings on the armrests further enhance its Belle Époque charm, showcasing the depth of Fermob’s metalworking expertise.
Crafted entirely from steel, the Ange chair is designed to withstand outdoor conditions while maintaining its refined elegance. The perforated seat ensures comfort and breathability, while the anti-UV polyester powder coating guarantees long-lasting durability and colour retention over time. Despite its artistic presence, the chair remains practical: it is stackable, making storage easy when not in use.
