With the Kate armchair, Patrick Jouin revisits the spirit of the iconic Facto chair, his very first creation for Fermob. Reinterpreted with greater softness and generosity, Kate features a refined yet welcoming silhouette, designed entirely from steel for a pure, monomaterial expression.
The armchair stands out for its elegant shell-style backrest, perfectly integrated into the structure. Its irregular perforations create a subtle play of light and shadow, while enhancing comfort and visual lightness. This technically sophisticated design, inspired by the world of haute couture, reflects Jouin’s ability to blend industrial mastery with poetic finesse.
Comfort is ensured by the slightly enveloping seat and the carefully studied proportions, while silencing pads provide discreet, noise-free movement. Practical for everyday use, the Kate armchair is stackable, making it ideal for both residential and professional outdoor spaces.
