Downtown Meets Uptown | Park Ave Apartment

My first project to be featured on the cover of Elle Decor, the clients were a young Manhattan power couple with a growing family as well as contemporary art collection, who were completely open to the idea of a downtown meets Park Avenue aesthetic. They wanted a chic but comfortable home that allowed the flexibility to entertain as well as a place where nothing was off limits to their kids. Features of note are the custom velvet lacquer sofa with integrated side tables that runs the entire length and width of the living room, a custom area rug with a traditional Chinese motif of scrolling dragons, a pair of Jindrich Halabala chairs, a coffee table with inlaid agate by Fernand Dresse and a pair of chandeliers by Lindsey Adelman.
