Il bracciale in oro 18 carati è stato realizzato tra il 1910 e il 1919, in perfetto stile Art Nouveau, un movimento artistico che coinvolge tanto l’architettura quanto le arti applicate e la gioielleria, adottando linee fluide ed ispirate alla natura, come in questo caso in cui il bracciale è assimilato ad un serpente. Il corpo, in particolare, è caratterizzato da una preziosa lavorazione dell’oro che ha permesso di ricreare le squame del serpente. La testa del serpente, invece, cela un orologio con movimento meccanico ed ha incastonati cinque diamanti taglio brillante. La testa, però, è ulteriormente impreziosita dagli occhi e da un collare con incastonati degli opali.
The 18k gold bracelet was created between 1910 and 1919, in perfect Art Nouveau style, an artistic movement that involves both architectures, applied arts and jewellery, adopting fluid lines inspired by nature, as in this case in which the bracelet is assimilated to a snake. The body, in particular, is characterized by a precious gold processing which has allowed the snake's scales to be recreated. The snake's head, however, hides a clock with a mechanical movement and is set with five brilliant-cut diamonds. The head, however, is further embellished by the eyes and a collar set with opals.
