22 Karat Yellow Gold Diamond and Red Enamel Handcrafted Bangle
This exemplary distinct Mughal era hand-made Polki diamond bangle with colorful enamel is mesmerizing. The magnificent colorful engraving of flowers in red enamel and leaves in green enamel is very intricate. This kind of Meena/enamel form is also called “Do Rangi Meena,” a detailed two-color intricate enamel with the back being transparent.
The bangle design is the typical “churi” style with a little complexity added through two opposing rows of identical triangle-shaped syndicate Polki diamonds merged together with the added level of round syndicate Polki diamonds as another layer, making it more heightened and adding a touch of royalty and class in the design. This inspiration for the design comes from the royal palaces in India that have these kinds of elements showcased throughout the outside walls of the palace.
This instrumental design and bangle date back many centuries with the unique top screw lock to open and close the bangle for extra security with the help of your loved one.
The solid 22k gold is purposely used in these enamel/Meena bangles, as the meenakari shows the best on gold as it has a natural sheen that sets off the colors of Meenakari beautifully. It also holds the enamel better and adds shine to it.
