An exceptional, fine and impressive antique 18 karat rose gold bangle; part of our diverse antique jewellery/estate jewelry collections.
This exceptional antique bangle has been crafted in 18k rose gold.
This antique bangle has a hinged oval-cylindrical form.
The anterior and posterior faces of this antique rose gold bangle are each embellished with an impressive engraved quatrefoil shaped leaf design, accented with a lozenge border and scrolling leaf terminals.
The bangle is further ornamented with undulating borders to the rims.
This antique rose gold bangle secures with a push fit catch and benefits from the added security of a safety catch.
The antique bangle is hallmarked to the tongue with the French import hallmark for gold (owl's head); this mark is used for finished articles brought into France to be examined by the French assay office.
Condition
This antique rose gold bangle is an excellent gauge of gold and is excellent quality.
The engraved decoration is all crisp.
There are a few minor blemishes to the surface of the bangle, however it can still be considered to be in excellent condition.
The French import hallmarks struck to the tongue are clear.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique jewellery/estate jewelry.
