About the Item
In 19th century New Orleans, jewelers produced exquisite jewelry in gold with delicate French enamel decoration. The bracelets were usually sold in pairs- and featured a different design on each side. Today they are usually found singly.
This lovely bangle is engraved inside with two dedications: "ALP to MFP 1893", and "MFP to MEP 9-6-30", giving it a charming story to tell.
