About the Item
A Victorian bracelet in 15 Kt gold has a large dome cabochon garnet in the center that is set with a gold star and small diamond. A border of light blue enamel surrounds the garnet and that is set with natural pearls. A deep blue buckle and strap end finish the art. This bracelet can be seen and dated in the Book "Understanding Jewelry" on page 185. The title states "Typical off the date is the garter motif and the garnet inset with a diamond star." Date 1865. The condition is excellent. All parts are original. A gem of an antique 19th century jewelry. Size 5 3/4 to 6 1/2 in wrist. Weight 24.5 grams
