About the Item
Finely detailed antique Victorian bangle bracelet (circa 1880s to 1900s), crafted in 14k rose gold and silver.
The moth is set with cabochon chrysoberyl measuring 11mm x 4mm (the stone does show some crazing). The wings are set with 1mm seed pearls. Cabochon rubies and sapphires measure 1.5mm. Note: 1 seed pearl is missing from the wing.
The moth is rendered in sterling silver. With a dark patina the moth takes on a haunting look. It is set on a bypass bangle in a slightly off center position as if ready to take flight. The bracelet is small and will fit a wrist up to 6 inches (please check your size prior to purchase). The moth is a symbol of determination, faith, attraction and psychic abilities.
The bracelet is in good condition with wear evident as described above. We have not cleaned the bracelet in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
