It is extremely rare to find Art Nouveau floral motif bracelets of this quality. The bracelet is centered with the most stunning faceted oval cut natural mined Amethyst. The amethyst has a gorgeous royal purple color and is 15mm by 11mm by 8mm and is approximately 7 Carats. The bangle bracelet has the most exquisite leaf motif design in 14 Karat Gold. The design evokes the romance of iris or lily leaves as it curves to embrace the amethyst gem. The Art Nouveau jewels celebrated the forms of nature and the natural world and the bangle does this with extraordinary effect. The bracelet is one of the most beautiful, elegant and romantic Art Nouveau jewels we have seen.
The bracelet opens to fit over the wrist. It has a safety chain. The bracelet dates to circa 1890-1910. The bracelet is a joy to be worn every day or at the most glamorous affair and is a treasure to be passed on for generations.
