About the Item
An Edwardian style hinged bangle crafted in yellow gold, featuring natural rubies and early double and triple old cut diamonds set in an intricate bead settings with fine gallery work. This original Edwardian setting is set upon a late 20th century bespoke made bangle with engraved split shoulders to a plain polished band. Secured with a hidden box clasp and fitted a figure eight safety clip.
Gemstone: Eleven natural oval cut rubies, grading from 4.85mm x 3.9mm to 7.3mm x 5.7mm, fine strong dark red material, estimated total weight 2.75ct
Diamond: Twenty natural double and triple old cut, good bright material, estimated total weight 0.50ct
Metal: 15k and 18k yellow gold – XRF tested
Weight: 19.22 grams
Measurements: Inner diameter 6.3cm, bangle base width 3.3mm
