About the Item
Renowned French jewelry designer Henry Perichon—known simply as "Henry"—crafted this breathtaking set of eight spacer bangles, each one a miniature masterpiece in gilded bronze. Inspired by Renaissance opulence, the rare bracelets shimmer with jewel-toned crystal rhinestones in a vivid spectrum: ruby red, turquoise, olive green, orange, cobalt blue, pink, green, and vibrant fuchsia.
Richly ornamental yet perfectly balanced, the set captures Henry's unmistakable flair for combining history, artistry, and bold color. Each bangle is discreetly signed "Henry" on the inside, a mark of authenticity from one of mid-century France's most sought-after creators.
Measurements: The inside diameter of each bracelet is 2.56 in (6.5 cm), and the width is 0.12 in (0.4 cm). The bracelets together are 1.25 in (3.2 cm). The inner circumference of each bracelet is 8.04 in (20.41 cm). The set of bracelets is best suited for a Medium-sized wrist.
Reference: Henry Perichon (1910 - 1970), known as "Henry," is one of the most inventive jewelry designers of the period. His studio was in Lyon. Working with mediums such as bronze, silver, white metal, or resin (Talosel), his style is difficult to define, reflecting a diverse range of influences, including Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and Art Deco. Many famous actresses from the 1950s and 1960s, such as Claudette Colbert, Suzanne Flon, Michele Morgan, and Edwige Feuillère, wore his jewelry on stage and in real life.
