About the Item
Michael Zobel has an international following for his very unusual pieces of jewelry that he calls "small works of art". His pieces are sought after and in many major jewelry collections of celebrities and fashion leaders. He excels in modernist unique designs working in different metals with fine stones.
This very wide bangle bracelet is oxidized sterling silver with an applied 24k yellow gold and 42 very white brilliant cut diamonds. The diamond weight is .42 cts. This weight is written in the interior of the bracelet by the maker. This bangle also has the abstract hand etching on the surface of the piece. We see this on many Zobel pieces.
This one of a kind three quarter bangle is just over 2.5 inches high and has an approximate 6 inch interior circumference. The bracelet is slightly flexible.
In the interior bears the engraved signature Zobel with the date of 2001. It is also marked ZO for the atelier Zobel workshop, as well as 925 for Sterling Silver.
Pieces made by this famous German jewelry design are sought after in the marketplace today and difficult to find especially his unique pieces such as this bangle.
