Details:
Beautiful Etruscan Revival Victorian bracelet with lovely enameling and a fabulous star. Bracelet is 14K yellow gold, with blue enamel in the shape of a star. In the center is a natural pearl that is approximately 4mm wide. The decorative shield is finished off with gold beading. Measuring 1 inch wide and tapering down to 1/4 inch at the back. The inner circumference is 6 inches. There are no hallmarks present but this has been tested to insure the gold purity. The clasp is in sound working order.
There is some engraving on that area well as the hinge on the opposite side. In good condition and ready to enjoy! There are signs of wear as to be expected with its antiquity. Light denting to shield as seen in the photo. There is a light rattle sound when shaken. I believe there may be something in the small orb. Perhaps a mourning piece and placed in the center to remember their loved one. No chipping to the wonderful enamel work. A lovely bracelet that would make a fine addition to your collection. The interior of the bracelet measures 6", the width is 1", and the interior measures 2 1/8" across. The weight of this bracelet is 12.6 grams.
Condition:
The overall all condition of this bracelet is very good with very subtle signs of having being delicately worn. We do not polish our antique jewelry as doing so interferes with the natural aged patina.
