About the Item
An absolutely magnificent sapphire bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18k vibrant yellow gold, this bangle features a continuous row of square cut sapphires. All of the sapphires are channel-set and have an approximate total carat weight of 12.5ctw. The no heat sapphires display a vivid royal blue hue. The top and bottom edge of the bangle feature delicate scrolling-motif engravings. The top edge of the bangle is marked with a small "eagle" hallmark, which indicates that the piece is French in origin. An absolutely fantastic bangle, this piece would make a lovely addition to any bracelet stack!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 5/8" wide and 2 1/4" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the bangle is excellent. There is no damage to the gold setting, and all of the sapphires are secure and intact.
