THIS IS A STUNNING ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ETRUSCAN REVIVAL 14-18 KARAT GOLD AND OLD MINE CUT DIAMOND BANGLE BRACELET.
The hinged bangle bracelet has museum quality Etruscan hand applied bead and rope work accents of extraordinary detail. In the center is a navette set with five old single and old mine cut diamonds of great beauty. The interior circumference is 5 5/8 inches.
This is one of the finest diamond set antique Victorian bracelets we have seen and Etruscan Revival jewels of this quality are rare and are all the rage today. The quality of the Etruscan beadwork and very fine micro designed rope work designs is museum quality. The bracelet has classic timeless elegance that is extraordinary. The bracelet dates to the Victorian period circa 1840-1880. The bracelet fits beautifully on the wrist.
The Etruscan jewels are characterized by exquisite micro beading and hand applied granulation creating magnificent and detailed designs in gold. This bracelet is a masterpiece of the technique with the extraordinary gold work throughout the piece.
The interior of the bracelet when closed is 5 5/8 inches around. The interior is 2 inches (52mm) wide by 1 5/8 inches (42mm) tall.
The bracelet opens to fit over the wrist and has a secure safety chain.
The bracelet tests for 14-18 Karat Gold.
